Most of my Koigu is 100% Merino fingering (sock/4-ply) yarn called KPM in the semi-solid colours and KPPPM for the multi-coloured yarns.
The colours are highly saturated, extremely intense.
It's a yarn with a high twist, giving superb stitch definition and making the colours pop.
Material: 100% merino wool
Weight: 50 gram hank, 160m (175yds)
Recommended needle size: 3,0 mm, but can be knitted with needles from 2.25 – 3.75mm (UK size 13 – 9)
Wash: Machine wash cool
Tension: 26-28 sts – 10 cm (4")
The striking colours make Koigu yarns particularly attractive for small projects and accessories like socks, gloves, shawls, scarves and hats.
I have limited numbers of hanks for every shade listed. You can add hanks to your cart one by one and keep adding until the site warns you that you've ordered all available stock in that shade.
The first group are newest colours I've added to the range.
At the bottom of the page you'll also find 5 shades of Koigu Mori, a 50/50% Merino/Silk
and 1 shade of Koigu Kersti, a 100% Merino DK.
