Elegance Lace is a pretty blend of 65% Silk, 35% Baby Camel. The lustre of the silk emphasises the twist in the yarn, which will give lovely stitch definition. It runs to a generous 800 metres per 100 gr hank, plenty for a medium size shawl, depending on the stitches and needle size chosen.
As with most lace knitting, do keep your cool when you find yourself holding what looks like a big, amorphous mess while you are knitting. The stitch patterns will reveal themselves in all their glory when you block your work!

This special, very limited edition yarn is wonderful. It comes in a gift box and a numbered certificate. Its colour was based on the engagement ring that the Duchess of Cambridge received from Prince WIlliam, a large sapphire surrounded by diamonds.
This yarn succeeds beautifully: lustrous sapphire blue with subtle silver flecks to capture the sparkle of the diamonds.
